Journal of Immune Based Therapies and Vaccines Journal of Immune Based Therapies and Vaccines (JIBTV) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to all aspects of therapeutic and prophylactic applications of immunology.
JIBTV aims to advance the understanding and application of specific immunological mechanisms, the role of antigens and antigenic epitopes in eliciting biological responses, immune correlates of protection and activity, strategic regulatory and clinical development considerations, adjuvants, formulations, delivery and devices, and other issues and findings relating to accelerating the discovery and advanced development through licensure, distribution and use of efficacious vaccines and immune based therapies (IBTs). The areas of vaccines and IBTs encompass many different disciplines, including infectious diseases, transplantation, cancer, allergic disorders, and autoimmune diseases.
Due to the rapid pace of global research and development in this area, there is a need for an open access journal that is focused on both advancements in the development and administration of immune based therapies and vaccines as well as on progress in overcoming obstacles to licensure, marketing, and access to these important biopharmaceuticals; JIBTV provides a forum to address these issues. Furthermore, the journal recognizes the importance of IBTs and vaccines in resolving many pressing issues confronting world health. Therefore, manuscript submissions which contribute to accelerating the development, implementation and use of IBT and vaccines are actively encouraged from individuals located anywhere in the world.
The goal of this journal is to provide an objective peer review process conducted by those knowledgeable in the field, and to facilitate the distribution of knowledge to those involved in development and implementation of IBT and vaccines for human and veterinary indications. The mission of this journal is the rapid, barrier-free dissemination of high-quality scientific work; its open access model is ideally suited to advance the field through presentation of discoveries, debates and hypotheses.
